His real name is Alex, a YouTuber who rose to fame live-streaming his gaming, garnering 15.7 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. He was only 23 when he passed away on June 30, 2022, due to sarcoma, a rare bone and soft tissue cancer called.
One day in 2021, TechnoBlade uploaded a video to explain his absence. He had cancer in his arm. TechnoBlade underwent numerous treatments and surgeries to combat this. But in June 2022, a video on his channel titled “so long nerds” was uploaded. Within, TechnoBlade’s father read from a script written by the YouTuber eight hours before his death, thanking fans for his happy life.
“Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you’re watching this, I am dead,” he said. “Thank you all for supporting my content over the years. If I had another 100 lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again every single time, as those were the happiest years of my life.”
